The promo screen for the tournament
Battle Bladers is a tournament run by the Dark Nebula, but hosted by the WBBA. It was what Yu Tendo wished for when he won the survival battle. The main purpose of it was to give Ryuga power for L Drago, so he could get stronger. You needed 50,000 bey points to get into the tournament, and the point of that was to weed out the weaker bladers. Only the first 16 bladers who earn 50,000 bey points can enter the tournament. The winner of the tournament was Gingka.

Right before the quarter-finals, however, Doji scrambled the battles so everyone was fighting a different opponent.

1st quarter-final match: Benkei Vs. Kenta.
2nd quarter-final match: Ryutaro Vs. Tsubasa.
3rd quarter-final match: Reiji Vs. Gingka.
4th quarter-final match: Ryuga Vs. Kyoya.

In the final match, Gingka faced off against Ryuga and won when Gingka's beyblade, Storm Pegasus , sacrificed itself to defeat Ryuga's beyblade, Lightning L Drago.
